In 2003, Chamberlain came out of the closet through his memoir, ‘Shattered Love.’ He was 70 at the time but finally willing to open up about his relationship with ex-partner Martin Rabbett. When we are talking about dedication in acting, nobody can rival Anthony Hopkins! His commitment to every movie role is top-notch, as he usually repeats the dialogue numerous times (up to 200 even!) to achieve utmost clarity and naturality. No wonder his portrayal as Hannibal Lecter in ‘Silence of the Lambs’ was legendary – he even obtained an Oscar!
Unfortunately, we cannot see his performances anymore, as Mr. Hopkins has rarely made an appearance in public since the 2010s. Yes, he is retired now and wants to enjoy it to the fullest without the limelight shining down on him.

As they say, the rest is history! The celebrity has maintained a steady career throughout.
Lately, Tina appeared on Ken Kushner’s 2019 film ‘Tapestry,’ and it seems that the prolific actress doesn’t plan to retire anytime soon. Evidently, she’s very passionate about her craft!

Her iconic songs are still featured in commercials and series to lend a vintage vibe. Initially, Sinatra gained recognition only in Japan and Europe. But, things quickly changed when her single ‘These Boots are Made for Walkin’ topped charts in the US and cemented her place as a successful artist.
Ian McDiarmid – Age 75
Even after reaching the age of 75, Ian is still going strong and keeps us entertained by reprising his most famous role in the ‘Star Wars Universe’ as Palpatine. The actor is also an established theater performer and has been rewarded with a Gold Medal for his invaluable contribution to cinema.

Lynn has always been the queen of singing what’s on her mind, and she doesn’t mince words. The artist has created a legacy for herself that will not pipe down anytime soon. She splits her time between relaxing with grandkids and being on the road to perform in concerts.
Chevy Chase – Age 76
The comedian was one of the founding members of the hugely successful skit show ‘SNL.’ Chevy is a renowned performer with multiple prestigious awards won as part of his impressive (and lengthy!) bio. He briefly ducked out of the limelight and moved to a quaint town to raise his four children and spend more time with them.
The actor’s stint on the series ‘Community’ received critical acclaim, and since then, he has also starred in many independent films. Chase also had some health-related problems, but he championed over them and is now roaring for a comeback!

Jerry Mathers – Age 72
We cannot believe that it’s been more than sixty years since ‘Leave It to Beaver’ released, and Jerry, who played cute little Theodore has crossed the age of 70! The role forever changed his life, and even though he didn’t pursue a career in acting, he will always be known as ‘The Beaver.’
In 1963, after the show ended, Mathers had a brief run at the United States Air Force Reserve. He then graduated and became a blue-chip banker! The star is also an outspoken advocate for diabetes. As for his acting, he still likes to make an appearance here and there to reprise his previous roles.
Tippi Hedren – Age 90
One of the last legendary names from the cinema still with us today, Tippi Hedren, was one of the most alluring faces on the silver screen in the ’60s. She was already a successful model featured on several influential fashion magazine covers before Hollywood came calling.
Perhaps most well-known for playing leading roles in two of Hitchcock’s greatest movies, she went on to star in various high-profile projects, including Charlie Chaplin’s last film. Though Tippi has long retired from acting, she has been a devoted animal rights advocate for several decades now and spends a great deal of time at the Wildlife Habitat Preserve that she supports.
Gloria Henry – Age 97

Jerry Lee Lewis – Age 84
Jerry was a maestro in playing the piano and gained massive attention in the early 1940s. Much to our surprise, things have not changed much since then. In 2006, his album broke records and was a huge commercial success. Age may have thrown in some health issues for the artist and his left-hand’s movements became restricted, but he miraculously still plays!
The recipient of Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and several other eminent accolades is still capable of drawing in the crowds as he frequently plays at sold-out concerts. Fans still adore the confidence with which he performs, and it only proves that talent is evergreen.
Beverley Cleary – Age 102
’90s kids are more than likely to have watched the teen classic, ‘Ramona and Beezus.’ Did you know that Beverley Cleary is the one behind the heartfelt yet funny story?
The child fiction series based on Ramona’s character is still widely popular in any library, and it speaks to what a legend Beverley is. She had the rare ability to encapsulate everything her young character is feeling into words. A level of relatability that was unseen before her time. So, it’s perfectly fitting that she was awarded America’s ‘National Medal of Arts.’
Jenna Jameson – Age 47
The ’90s glamor model and adult entertainer Jenna Jameson is still around today, and after a successful career in the adult industry, Jameson also tried her luck in the acting world. She’s best known for starring in films like “Private Parts,” “I Dream of Jenna,” and “Dangerous Tides.”

Remarkably, Steele is also an accomplished sculptor who had the chance to exhibit his work. “Eleanor Rigby,” a tribute to “The Beatles,” is one of his most famous sculptures. In 2021, Steele was given the Freedom of the City of London; he’s still an active performer.
Linda Gray – Age 81
A Santa Monica, California native, the American actress Linda Gray could just as well be from Dallas, Texas. After all, it was the role in the “Dallas” soap opera that made her famous all over the country. In total, she appeared in over 300 episodes of the ’70s soap, portraying the character of ‘Sue Ellen Ewing.’
After leaving “Dallas” in 1991, Gray continued to work as an actress on TV, stage, and film. As of 2021 (according to the Daily Mail), Gray resides in Valencia, California, and enjoys shopping at Costco. She hasn’t acted on camera since 2019, the year she appeared in the movie “Prescience.”

Eric Clapton – Age 76
The author of the 2021 music single “This Has Gotta Stop,” the accomplished English guitarist/singer Eric Clapton is still active in the rock and roll world. Often considered to be one of the best guitar players of all time, he’s known for his smooth style of playing, which ventures into jazz territories without ever losing its warm, pop-like feel.
Clapton worked with some of the world’s most renowned musicians during his decades-long career, from the blues legend B.B. King to the reggae master Bob Marley. According to multiple sources, Clapton was also a major influence on George Harrison’s guitar playing during his later years with “The Beatles.”
Phil Collins – Age 70
Playing the drums and singing for the legendary prog-rock act “Genesis” should be enough for a musician’s career. But Phil Collins wasn’t satisfied with just that. He ended up finding as much success as a solo musician as he did with “Genesis,” creating songs as influential as “In the Air Tonight”—credited for shaping the characteristic reverberated snare-drum sound of the ’80s.
With over 100 million records sold, seven Grammy Awards won, and even an Oscar in the bag, Collins continues to do what he loves most: play in front of an audience. In 2021, he toured with “Genesis” for what’s reportedly their last reunion tour.
Michael Caine – Age 87
Old but gold – that’s how we describe Michael Caine! The so-called old age didn’t make him rusty at all, and it was proved in his 2018 film titled ‘King of Thieves.’ His portrayal of Brian Reader took the movie’s acclaim to the next level – we have to say that he nailed the role!
Many don’t know this, but Michael came from a different background, unlike the other celebrities. He was enlisted in the British army for two years before he came back and started acting. Now we know why he has worked in so many action films!
Sally Struthers – Age 74
Her comedic timing and signature blonde locks had us in splits during Sally’s time on the critically acclaimed series ‘Gilmore Girls,’ and ‘All in the Family.’ The actress is a proud recipient of two Primetime Emmy Awards for her ability to connect with audiences via heartfelt performances that can make you laugh and cry at the same time.
Struthers’s time in Tinseltown seems far from over, and the star is not looking at retirement just yet! She consistently appears in films, series, and even theater. Her activism towards impoverished kids has also garnered attention and appreciation by many.
Lorenzo Lamas – Age 63
While Lorenzo Lamas is best known for his Golden Globe-nominated performance in the soap Falcon Crest and playing Hector Ramirez in The Bold and the Beautiful, he got his big break in the popular classic film Grease.
Don’t recognize him? He played the sports jock Sandy made Danny Jealous with, he even dyed his hair blonde for the role. His other big longstanding role came as Reno Raines in the ’90s series Renegade and he also dabbled in voice work, playing Meap in Phineas and Ferb. Lamas is set to star in a 2022 film called Trail Blazers.
Victoria Principal – Age 71
Being the author of ‘The Body Principal’ and heading successful business ventures like a production house and her own skincare line, Victoria Principal really has won Tinseltown in every aspect.
It’s no wonder Victoria is an age-defying beauty, as she’d have to be young at heart to build and maintain an empire relentlessly. It’s also hard to imagine the doe-eyed star who played Pamela Barnes on the ever-popular ‘Dallas’ come such a long way from being the girl-next-door of the ’80s. Here’s hoping she makes a comeback on the small screen again soon!
